Professor Flynn has been a faculty member since 1963. He holds bar memberships in Utah, Massachusetts, U.S. District Court for Utah and the Tenth Circuit. He served as special counsel and consultant to two U. S. Senate committees and the Federal Trade Commission. He has taught courses in antitrust, constitutional law, communications law, jurisprudence and ethics, patents and civil procedure. He has served as visiting professor of law at the University of Pennsylvania, University of Michigan, University of Texas, Georgetown University, and Washington University, St. Louis. His memberships have included the Antitrust Institute, ACLU of Utah, Governor's Committee to Review Public Utility Regulation, and the Bar Committee to Revise Utah Antitrust Law. He has written, co-authored or contributed to a number of books and has written an extensive number of articles.
